Kailin Gow is an actress/host, a producer, director, screenwriter, and award-winning international bestselling author with over 2 million books sold purely by word-of-mouth and popularity. Kailin Gow has over 200 books published, 35 active book series, and has received a contract to publish some of her books by the same publisher as Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James in Europe, and has received a commitment by an international game company to turn her epic fantasy The Frost Series and other series into MMO Games. Bitter Frost the first book in The Frost Series is in development.
She has been featured as an author phenomenon on the largest Chinese-language newspaper, The World Journal, outside of Asia. As a successful American author, she has the most books translated and being translated into Chinese and Spanish than any author – indie or traditionally-published.
As an independently-published book series, Bitter Frost, an original fantasy action adventure and romance series, was a phenomenon and was even nominated for a Readers Choice Nomination in Science Fiction and Fantasy for ALA’s YALSA, along with Divergent by Veronica Roth. Currently over 50 of her books are in production as audio books, with 21 of them published and available worldwide.

As a producer and host, she has written and produced news shows, been on HGTV’s Holiday Windows television specials, acted in a Chuck E. Cheese commercial with her preschool-age daughter, and is working on several projects in various stages of production including “Brainy Yogis” a DVD series for 2 – 7 year old which teaches fitness and reading. Her short short film, The Stoker Sisters, based on her vampire series about Romania’s ruler Dracula, was screened at the Los Angeles Shorts Festival. Kailin Gow was also active in screening screenplays for judging at film festivals such as the Big Bear Film Festival.
She has also written and produced news and community segments for television for The City of Beverly Hills, and helped facilitate cable television development and issues between the city and cable operators, while getting her Masters degree in Management from USC.

Bullies and Other Meanies, founded the Saving You Saving Me Project, based on her bestselling new adult book series,
Saving You Saving Me, and has provided free workshops for teens and women on self-esteem and confidence through Shy Girls Social Club such
as the Be the Heroine of Your Life Self-esteem Workshop for teens and women with the Girl Scouts. As a teenager, Kailin Gow, had the honor of being a high school representative of California sent to Washington DC as a student leader to meet with California House of Reps members and US Senators on teen issues. In college, Kailin Gow started her own radio show called Bridges to bridge the gap between cultures, and was a peer counselor for young women and women on campus and in the Orange County community on women’s issues including dating and sexuality.
She has also been a speaker and mentor for teen girls and young women with Kristin Kreuk (Smallville and Beauty and the Beast on the CW Network).
Having experienced bullying firsthand and slander as a woman even as an indie author, Kailin Gow is an active advocate against bullying in the workplace and in schools. She has written Shy Girls Social Club Handbook Against Bullying and has helped launch Stories for Amanda where all proceeds go towards the Amanda Todd Foundation against bullying. She has written several books with the theme of abuse towards women and children, especially the steamy international bestselling The Protégé Series, which launched a book club initiative in battered women’s shelters and won The Indie Excellence Awards at NIEA for Erotica in 2014.
She holds a Masters Degree in Communications Management from The Annenberg School for Communications at the University of Southern California, and degrees in Drama and Social Ecology, as well as a minor in Filmmaking.
She resides in the American West with her husband and daughter, but had lived for a decade in Texas, and briefly in England. Besides being a full-time author, she volunteers for many organizations, is active in church helping build homes for the homeless and visit orphanages.
